2. How We Use Cookies & Storage

Strictly Essential Cookies: These cookies are necessary for the core security and operations of TextCorn. We use Supabase token cookies to keep you signed in as you navigate between stories, chapters, and your reader library. Disabling these cookies will break the login functionality, and you will be unable to access your profile.

Functionality & Preference Storage: We use browser local storage to save your preference settings, such as your dark mode layout choices. We also store a verification flag in local storage when you verify your age at the gate modal, ensuring you do not have to confirm your age on every page reload.

Integration Cookies: When signing in via Discord, Discord may set its own secure cookies to process OAuth consent tokens. Similarly, our media hosting utilizes Cloudflare cookies to distinguish legitimate browsers from automated bots, protecting our servers from DDoS attacks.

3. Third-Party Cookies and Analytics

Some third-party features integrated into our platform, such as embedded Discord widgets, Patreon billing triggers, or internal site speed logs, may set cookies on your browser. We do not have control over how these external services use their cookies. We recommend reviewing the privacy policies of Discord, Supabase, Cloudflare, and Patreon for more details.

4. Managing and Disabling Cookies
