Copyright Policy (DMCA)

1. Copyright Infringement & Designated Agent

TextCorn respects the intellectual property rights of creators and complies with the provisions of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).

If you are a copyright owner or an authorized representative and believe that any user-generated content hosted on TextCorn infringes upon your copyright, you may submit a formal notification to our Designated Copyright Agent at dmca@textcorn.app.

2. Requirements of a Valid Takedown Notice

To be processed, your DMCA notice must be in writing and contain the following information: (a) A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized representative; (b) Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed; (c) Identification of the infringing material, including the exact URL or path on TextCorn so that we can locate the material; (d) Your contact details, including email, address, and telephone number; (e) A statement that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; and (f) A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate.

3. Counter-Notifications

If your content was removed due to a copyright notice and you believe this was due to a mistake or misidentification, you may file a Counter-Notification by emailing counter-dmca@textcorn.app.

Your counter-notice must include your contact information, signature, identification of the removed story/chapter, and a statement under penalty of perjury consenting to the jurisdiction of the federal courts.

Once received, we will forward the counter-notice to the original complaining party. If the complainant does not file a court action within 10-14 business days, we are legally permitted to restore the removed content.

4. Repeat Infringer Policy

We take copyright violations seriously. TextCorn maintains a repeat infringer policy. Any user account that receives two or more valid copyright takedown notices will be permanently banned from the platform, and their published stories will be removed.
