1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to TextCorn. By accessing, downloading, or using our website, platform, application interface, or Discord integrations (collectively, the "Service"), you represent that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms of Service (these "Terms").

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and TextCorn. If you do not agree to all of these Terms, you are strictly prohibited from using the platform and must discontinue access immediately.

2. Eligibility & Age Restrictions

You must be at least 18 years of age to access, register, or use the Service. TextCorn features content and stories that may be mature or adult in nature. By logging in or verifying your age, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old.

If we learn that we have collected personal data from a person under 18 years of age, we will immediately delete that information and terminate the associated account.

3. Account Security and Authentication

TextCorn utilizes Discord OAuth for secure, password-free user registration and login. You are responsible for keeping your Discord credentials safe. All activity that occurs under your TextCorn account handle is your sole responsibility.

You agree to notify us immediately via our Contact Support form at textcorn.com/legal/contact if you suspect any unauthorized access, breach, or compromise of your account.

We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to suspend or terminate accounts that use offensive, hateful, or misleading handles, engage in spam, or impersonate other individuals or entities.

4. User-Generated Content & Ownership

You retain all ownership rights to the original stories, characters, messages, and content you submit to TextCorn.

By publishing content on the Service, you grant TextCorn a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to use, reproduce, distribute, display, and perform your content in connection with operating, promoting, and improving the Service.

You guarantee that your content does not violate any third-party intellectual property rights or our Community Guidelines.

5. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose, to solicit others to perform or participate in any unlawful acts, to harass or discriminate against others, or to submit false or misleading information.

You may not attempt to reverse-engineer our platform, bypass our security measures (including Row Level Security rules), scrape our databases, or interfere with the proper working of the Service.

6. Discord Integration & Gating

Our Service allows creators to restrict access to stories based on users' Discord server memberships. TextCorn reads your Guild memberships solely for the purpose of granting or denying access to these gated stories.

We do not post on your behalf, manage your servers, or access your direct messages.

7. Limitation of Liability and Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. TextCorn does not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TextCorn and its affiliates, directors, or employees shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use or inability to use the Service, unauthorized access to your data, or any third-party content published on the platform.

Adult Content and User Representations

TextCorn is exclusively for persons aged 18 or older.

By uploading or publishing content, you represent and warrant that you own it or possess all necessary rights, that every real person depicted in sexual or intimate visual content was at least 18 when created and consented to its creation and distribution, that the responsible producer maintains all legally required records, and that the content is not child sexual abuse material, non-consensual intimate content, a prohibited sexual deepfake, content produced through coercion or trafficking, or otherwise illegal.

TextCorn may reject, restrict, remove or preserve content and suspend or terminate accounts where reasonably necessary to enforce these requirements or comply with law.

AI-Generated and Altered Content

AI-generated and digitally altered content must be clearly labelled. Users may not submit sexual content that depicts or imitates an identifiable real person without that person's consent, or that depicts or appears to depict a minor.

Moderation

TextCorn may remove or restrict content, reduce visibility, impose age or geographic restrictions, issue warnings, restrict functions, suspend or terminate accounts, and preserve information relevant to a safety or legal investigation.

Where required, affected users will receive a statement describing the restriction, principal facts, contractual or legal basis, material use of automated tools and available appeal options.

Reports and Appeals

Illegal content may be reported at https://textcorn.com/legal/report. Eligible decisions may be appealed within six months at https://textcorn.com/legal/appeal. Appeals will be handled objectively and not decided solely by automated means.

Non-Consensual Intimate Content

TextCorn prohibits genuine, altered and AI-generated intimate visual content published without the depicted person's consent. Removal requests may be submitted at https://textcorn.com/legal/intimate-content-removal. Copyright ownership is not required.

Termination

TextCorn may suspend or terminate accounts for violations. Suspended or terminated users may not create another account to evade the restriction.

Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, users agree to indemnify TextCorn LLC against third-party claims, liabilities, damages and reasonable costs arising from submitted content, infringement of third-party rights or material violation of the Terms. This does not limit liability where prohibited by mandatory law.
