2. Information We Collect

We may collect Discord account information received through OAuth; profile information; stories, images, comments, ratings, bookmarks and other submissions; IP address, browser, device, timestamps, page views, searches, reading progress, referrals, security events and diagnostic logs; and information in support requests, reports, appeals, copyright notices and removal requests.

3. Purposes and Legal Bases

We process information to operate and authenticate accounts, publish user content, save preferences, operate Discord integrations, provide support, moderate content, protect users, prevent fraud and security incidents, process legal reports, comply with law, defend claims and improve TextCorn.

Where the GDPR applies, legal bases include performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, legitimate interests in operating and securing the platform, protection of vital interests, legal claims and consent where specifically requested.

4. Providers

TextCorn currently uses Supabase for database, authentication-related infrastructure and storage; Cloudflare for security, content delivery, caching and network services; Discord for OAuth authentication and integrations; and Mailgun for transactional email. TextCorn does not currently use a payment processor.

5. Disclosure

Information may be disclosed to these providers, when a user instructs publication, to professional advisers, to protect rights and safety, to investigate misconduct, to comply with valid legal requests, or during a business transfer. TextCorn does not sell personal information.

6. International Transfers

TextCorn LLC is based in the United States. Where required, international transfers are protected through adequacy decisions, approved contractual clauses or other lawful safeguards.

7. Retention

Active account data is retained while the account remains active. Deleted account data is ordinarily removed from active systems within 30 days; backups may remain up to 90 additional days. Technical and security logs may be kept for 12 months; support, moderation and removal records for three years; copyright records for seven years. Information may be retained longer where law, safety, evidence or legal claims require it.

8. Rights

Depending on location, users may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability or withdrawal of consent and may complain to a competent supervisory authority. Requests go to support@textcorn.com. Reasonable identity verification may be required.

9. Automated Systems

TextCorn may use automated tools to detect spam, security threats, prohibited content or manipulation and assist search, ranking and recommendations. TextCorn does not rely solely on automated processing for legally significant decisions. Eligible moderation decisions may receive human review.

10. Children

TextCorn is restricted to people aged 18 or older. Accounts identified as belonging to minors will be terminated and associated information deleted or restricted as appropriate. Suspected child exploitation may be reported to authorities.

11. Security

TextCorn uses reasonable administrative, technical and organizational safeguards. No system is completely secure.

12. Account Deletion

Users may request deletion through account settings or support@textcorn.com. Some information may remain where necessary for law, safety, fraud prevention, disputes or protection of other users.

13. Contact and Changes

Privacy questions and rights requests go to support@textcorn.com. TextCorn may update this Policy and will communicate material changes where required.
